  1. I saw your post on Blissful and Domestic about making homemade laundry detergent and was wondering what the cost for one batch of the detergent is and also how long it lasts. Thanks.

    1. it would be nice if the link that was provided actually had the detergent recipe instead we are basically lied to so we end up here well for you that dont know it is simple 5 gal of water 1 cup of 20 mule team detergent booster 1 cup arm and hammer laundry booster and 1 bar of zote soap that is shaved into little tiny pc;s with a cheese grater and yea ya boil that in like 3 cups of water in a crap pan until it is melted into the water and add only the 1 bar of graded and melted zote soap with the other 2 and stir and let it sit for 24 hr's and waaaalaaa home made detergent there now others can get what they actually clicked on the link for :)

    2. For the best bottles to use for storing the laundry detergent I use empty White Vinegar bottles. The vinegar I use for bathing and house cleaning, among other things. Then I save the bottles for the laundry detergent. Some people use milk bottles but I find that they can explode, break and leak. So. Vinegar bottles.

  4. This is the kind of laundry soap I make and it works great. Each load costs just a penny or so.

    1. LOL you are so funny! It clearly states on my homepage that I am NOT Danielle from Blissful and Domestic that the Yahoo article was about. But apparently you are unable to read the other comments that are RIGHT ABOVE the one you just wrote. I was never asked permission to be in Danielle’s article so I don’t know why my blog was even mentioned on an article about her especially when she shares the recipe on her blog, and not mine. So if you want to complain, complain to her or yahoo but not me. Please, please go and complain to her or yahoo because ever since the article went up and people assumed me for her it's made my life nothing but a living hell.
On my main page for everyone's convenience I put five links to all types of different ways to make it for everyone's convenience but nope everybody would rather just sit back and call me names and DEMAND to know where this stupid recipe is instead looking on the main page. So thanks for calling me a liar! I tried but It's never good enough for anyone.
